WasteConnect is a web application designed to streamline the process of reporting waste and scheduling pickups with local waste management facilities. The app allows users to upload images of waste, provide their location, and categorize the type of waste they are reporting. To use the app, users can navigate to the upload page where they can select an image of the waste, enter their location either manually or by using geolocation, and provide a description and category for the waste. Once the report is submitted, users will receive a confirmation message and can track the status of their reports through a dashboard. The application is built using TypeScript and React, leveraging the Next.js framework for server-side rendering and routing. It utilizes various UI components for a responsive design, including buttons, cards, and forms. The app also incorporates Lucide icons for visual enhancements and user interaction.
