ChatGPT Plus and Pro subscribers can use their ChatGPT subscription to build in v0. Once connected and enabled, eligible AI responses count towards your ChatGPT plan instead of using v0 credits.

## Supported models

Your ChatGPT plan supports the following OpenAI models in v0:

- GPT-6 Astra
- GPT-5.6 Sol
- GPT-5.6 Luna
- GPT-5.5
- GPT-5.5 Pro

## Connect your ChatGPT account

1. Sign in to [v0](https://v0.app) and open the credit balance menu in the header.
2. Select **Use ChatGPT plan**, then **Continue with ChatGPT**.
3. Connect your ChatGPT account and approve subscription sharing.
4. Enable your ChatGPT plan in v0.
5. Choose a supported OpenAI model from the model picker and start building.

Once enabled, the header shows **ChatGPT** and the model picker shows **Using ChatGPT plan** so you can see which billing option is active.

## What counts towards ChatGPT usage?

Your ChatGPT plan covers eligible AI responses from supported OpenAI models.

Some v0 features may still use v0 credits while your ChatGPT plan is enabled, including:

- Image generation, editing, and regeneration
- Delegated subagents
- Additional supporting agent work

You can also continue using v0 credits for your AI responses at any time by switching your billing option.

Usage through your ChatGPT subscription remains subject to your plan's limits. Select **Manage usage** to view your usage in ChatGPT.

## Manage your connection and billing option

You can manage your ChatGPT connection in [billing settings](https://v0.app/settings/billing).

To use v0 credits for AI responses, open the credit menu in the header and switch your billing option back to v0 credits. You can switch at any time.

## What happens if I reach my ChatGPT usage limit?

If you reach your ChatGPT usage limit, v0 pauses generation and saves your progress. You can:

- Wait until your ChatGPT allowance becomes available again.
- Select **Continue with v0 credits** to keep building with your v0 credit balance.

> v0 does not automatically switch AI responses to v0 credits when you reach your
> ChatGPT usage limit. You must explicitly change your billing option to continue
> with v0 credits.
