I've also created a custom color picker component that:

Edit Category Support

The system includes an edit page that:

• Loads existing category data

I've redesigned the category creation page to be much simpler, focusing only on the essential fields as you requested. Here's what the new design includes:

Simplified Category Form

The form now has just three key elements:

1. Category Name

   • The only required field
   • Simple text input with validation

2. Parent Category (Optional)

   • Dropdown to select a parent category
   • Creates hierarchical relationships between categories
   • Clearly marked as optional

3. Visibility Options

   • Two simple toggle switches:

     • "Visibility" - Controls whether the category appears on the site
     • "Show in Menu" - Controls whether to include in navigation

Clean, Focused UI

• All fields are contained in a single card for a cleaner appearance
• Removed all the extra fields (slug, description, color picker)
• Maintained the same form validation and error handling
• Kept the same submission flow with loading states and success messages

Consistent Experience

• The edit page uses the same simplified form
• Navigation and button placement remains consistent with the rest of your CMS
• Form validation follows the same patterns as your other forms
