Student Attendance and USG Events with Leader boards

INTRODUCTION
Managing events and attendance is an important part of student life in educational institutions. This study focuses on developing a system that helps students and administrators handle these tasks efficiently. The system will allow students to log in using their Student ID, check their attendance records, and view their participation in sports events. Meanwhile, administrators will have tools to create and manage events, track attendance through QR codes or manual input, and maintain leaderboards for sports competitions. These features aim to improve student involvement and assist administrators in organizing events effectively (Smith, 2020).

This system also supports better communication by enabling administrators to post announcements and generate reports on attendance and event results. By providing clear access to event details and participation records, the system encourages students to stay informed and engaged. The study will assess how this system can enhance event participation and provide valuable data for administrators.

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY
The main objective of this study is to design and develop a system that supports event management and attendance tracking for an educational institution. Specifically, the system aims to:
1.Record and organize the attendance of students at school events.
2.Show the scores and rankings of teams in USG sports events through a leaderboard.
3. Help students stay updated about events, attendance, and sports results using one system.

By implementing these specific features, the study aims to improve the organization of campus activities, increase student participation, and provide administrators with efficient tools for monitoring and documentation.
