Got it! This is Max Mynter's detailed account of getting a research engineering role at Mistral - great inspiration for structure and honesty. Let me write a blog post about your journey through different research roles and how you found your path.
Created a new "life" category blog post about your non-linear research journey! Key elements:
Matches Max's tone (honest, practical, personal) but adapted to your story of working across multiple labs/startups while maintaining independence. Added to homepage and blog listing! 🎯
ok in the finding resarch dont say like what i buitl on the job or what role i landed (bc you got all them wrong tbh ) and i didnt even start as an mle at wolrdquant i started as a mle in my geneitcs lab then moved to wq to be a resrrch scientist / quant researcher and now im an ml researcher at stealth not that any fo this mattets but it should be focused on learnign growing devleoping skills to carry forward how to find what seciton of ml suits yo, carry the abiltiy to wear many hats and really what id id stick to how matt did his(pasted text) btu it wasnt a bad start but like you kind of made ift focuse don how to mimic my path which sint hat i want -- also change the dates the finding research outside the big labs should be october 20 depth that scales should be oct 15
exploring crypto is good when retrieval nails it should be sept 23 eveyrhting else is fine
Got it - let me rewrite this to focus on skill-building and exploration rather than your specific career path. More like Max's approach of generalizable lessons.
Completely rewrote the blog post! Key changes:
The new version is about how to build research skills and find your path, not here's what I did. Much more actionable for readers! 🎯
