I’m designing a "Reports & Data" module for a hotel management platform called Aloha. The goal is to provide a clean, consistent interface to view key metrics, filter data, and take actions. The module is divided into 3 main sections:📊 1. ReportsA. ReservationsShow 4 tabs:Reservation Summary: filters by date/channel, cards with key metrics (average booking value, total bookings, occupancy rate, total revenue, OTA commission), and a table (date, unit, stay range, status, channel, amount).Filters: “Paid in cash”, “Confirmed reservations”.Occupancy by unit: table with unit, occupancy rate, avg rate, total bookings, nights booked, total revenue.Financials: show revenue, RevPAR, cancellation rate, average rate per night, occupancy rate, and revenue by channel (chart).Expenses: total expenses, top category, monthly comparison, table by category with filters.B. Insurance reportsFilters + table: booking code, insurance ID, guests covered, insurance cost, earnings, payment status.Row actions: view detail, view booking, delete.👥 2. GuestsTable of guest profiles: name, country, email, phone.Row actions: view detail, edit, delete, blacklist.Create guest form with validation. On detail: optionally show reservation history or tags like “VIP”.✳️ General UX requirements:Show summaries with clean card components.Keep filter UI simple and consistent.Add data visualizations (charts) where relevant.Keep form fields grouped logically.Use descriptive, non-technical copy (e.g., “Confirmed reservations” vs “Reserva efectiva”).
