Now lets make a very important and big change. Talanta isn't just about basketball. It's about every sport in the world.
The existing drop down selector that allows users to select different basketball leages should be changed to let users choose between different sports. The drop down selector should contain these sports and their respective icons: basketball, formula 1, football, american football, surf, hip hop dance, tennis, triathlon, and 5 other sports that are most known worldwide.
Selecting any of these should take the user to a whole different experience there, channeled through that sports atheletes, competitions and events.
Please do not remove or change the existing experience that is in place for basketball. Simply adapt all others to the existing components but in a way that makes sense for that particular sport.
As for the existing basketball league drop down, refrain from getting rid of that one, make you place it somewhere else in a simple and minimalistic way. Prefer logos and icons to words, all along. We want to avoid a verbose platform.
This should be mobile-first. So make sure all components follow best mobile practices too
